If you’re asking this question, it probably is. Therapy isn’t just for people in crisis. It’s for anyone who wants to understand themselves better, improve their relationships, or stop repeating patterns that aren’t working. A free consultation is a low-stakes way to find out.
-
In practice, not much. Both involve working with a trained professional to address emotional, relational, or psychological concerns. I use both terms interchangeably.

The first session is about getting oriented. I’ll ask about what brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and what’s been going on in your life. After that, sessions are a mix of conversation, reflection, and practical work. I’ll check in regularly to make sure we’re on track.
-
Yes. I offer both in-person sessions in Hong Kong and online sessions via secure video. Online therapy is just as effective for most concerns, and many clients prefer the flexibility.

It means I'm completing my master's degree in clinical mental health counselling and working under formal supervision while I do so. My supervisor, Dr. Katrina Rozga, is a fully credentialed counsellor across multiple jurisdictions. We discuss every case I take, and she's available for consultation between sessions when needed. After my graduation in 2027, I'll apply for full Certified Counsellor membership with HKPCA. If you'd like to know more about what this means for your work with me, please ask on our consultation call.
